Canon Waste Ink Tank Reset Procedures

Canon GENERIC "S" SERIES RESET CODE
Waste Ink Counter Reset.
(1) Turn off the printer.
(2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button.
(3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two(2) more times in
succession. Note: you are still holding the POWER button). The printer's carriage will "reset"
or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the
"Service Mode".
(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp
will alternate (change) color with each key press.
1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check.
2. EEPROM - Info printout.
3. EEPROM - Initialization.
4. Reset the Waste ink counter.
5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!)
After selecting the desired mode (eg 4), press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.

(pour ceux qui ne sauraient pas, reset = réinitialisation et j'ai laissé des resets dans le texte... c'est plus court à écrire)

Procédure de Réinitialisation des chargeurs d'encre CANON

CODE de RESET pour Canon GENERIC "S" SERIES
Reset du compteur d'encre.
(1) Eteindre l'imprimante.
(2) Appuyez et maintenez le bouton RESUME, faites de même avec le bouton POWER.
(3) Rlâchez le bouton RESUME, puis réappuyez et relachez le bouton RESUME deux fois d'affilé. Note: vous maintenez appuyé le bouton POWER pendant tout ce temps-là. Le chariot va se remettre en position initiale (il peut se déplacer pour se faire). Si la procédure est respectée, l'imprimante passe en "Mode Service"
(4) Appuyez le boutton RESUME 4 fois, cela sélectionnera la fonction d'effacement du compteur d'encre. La lumière (la diode je suppose)
va changer de couleur à chaque appui de la touche.

La liste des fonctions est la suivante:
1. Service/impression de test d'usine, incluant la vérif' du capteur d'encre.
2. EEPROM - affichage d'Info.
3. EEPROM - (Ré)-Initialisation.
4. Reset le compteur d'encre. <==== la fonctionnalité recherchée
5. Paramêtre de l'imprimante. (Il y a d'autres fonctions dans ces paramêtres mais vaut mieux ne pas y toucher - ON VOUS AURA PREVENU!)

Après avoir séléctionné le mode désiré (donc le 4), appuyez sur le bouton POWER pour appliquer la réinitialisation, et retournez au début du menu de selection de mode. Appuyer à nouveau sur POWER pour redémarrer l'imprimante.

6. Relâchez les deux boutons.

1. Reconnectez le câble USB.

Eteindre l'imprimante
Maintenir enfoncé le bouton RESUME, puis de même avec le bouton POWER
Relacher le bouton RESUME, puis appuyer 2 fois d'affilées sur RESUME. (POWER reste enfoncé pendant tout ce temp). Le chariot risque de bouger dans l'imprimante.
Vous êtes maintenant en mode Service
Appuyer sur RESUME selectionne une fonction; par exemple, 4 appuis sur RESUME va sélectionner la fonction de reset du compteur d'encre. La diode change de couleur à chaque nouvel appui sur RESUME

1. service/impression de test d'usine, incluant la vérification de capteur d'encre
2. EEPROM affichage d'info
3. EEPROM (ré)initialisation
4. Reset du compteur d'encre
5. Paramêtre de l'imprimante. (Il y a d'autres fonctions dans ces paramêtres mais vaut mieux ne pas y toucher - ON VOUS AURA PREVENU!)

Après avoir sélectionné votre mode (certainement le 4) ,appuyer sur POWER pour valider et retourner au début du menu des fonctions. Appuyer sur POWER à nouveau pour éteindre puis rédémarrer l'imprimante

1. Eteindre l'imprimante.
2. Maintenir enfoncé le bouton RESUME puis maintenir enfoncé le bouton POWER.

4. Appuyer 2 fois d'affilées sur le bouton RESUME puis relacher POWER.
5. La diode verte va clignoter puis s'arrêter
6. Appuyer 4 fois sur RESUME une fois la diode fixe.
7. Appuyer sur POWER pour éteindre l'imprimante, si ça marche pas, réessayer POWER.
8. Votre imprimante est redevenue en mode normal, prête à utilisation.

1) Entrer en mode SERVICE.
En appuyant sur Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy
2) Selectionner TEST MODE.
3) Selectionner [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Selectionner 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Selectionner 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Appuyer sur la touche [Set].
7) Appuyer sur la touche [Stop/Reset] (retour à l'état du 3)), puis appuyez sur la touche [ON/OFF].

Canon Pixma IP 4200
1) Imprimante éteinte, maintenir enfoncé le bouton POWER en même temp que le bouton RESUME/CANCEL.
(NE PAS RELACHER les boutons.La diode est verte pour indiquer qu'une fonction est sélectionnable)
2) En maintenant enfoncé POWER, relacher le bouton RESUME/CANCEL.
3) En maintenant enfoncé POWER, appuyer 2 fois sur RESUME/CANCEL, puis relacher tous les boutons. (Sur chaque appui de RESUME/CANCEL les led Power et Alarm s'allument alternativement, Alarm en orange et Power en vert, en commencant par la led Alarm.)
4) Appuyer sur RESUME 4 fois
5) Appuyer sur POWER

1. Service menu: Menu -> Scan -> Copy -> Scan
2. Selectionner "TEST MODE"
3. Selectionner "[8] ETC.."
4. Selectionner "[4] EEPROM CLEAR"
5. Selectionner "[1] INK COUNT"
6) Appuyer sur la touche [OK].
7) Appuyer sur la touche [Stop/Reset] (retour au sous-menu TEST MOD))
8) Appuyer sur la touche [ON/OFF] key (qui reset l'imprimante)

Canon Pixma MP150
1) Imprimante éteinte mais câble d'alim' branché, appuyer sur le bouton POWER tout en maintenant enfoncé STOP/RESET.
2) Une fosi la diode Power allumée, appuyer deux fois sur le bouton STOP/RESET en maintenant enfoncé POWER.
3) Relacher tous les boutons, l'imprimante entre en mode service. (En attente du menu sélection)
4) Une fois la diode ON/OFF verte, appuyer sur le bouton STOP/RESET le nombre de fois permettant de sélectionner la bonne fonction d'après le tableau ci-dessous.(Chaque appui de STOP/RESET fait changer de couleur la diode (orange-vert-ornage-...)

Nombre d'appui(s) de STOP/RESET - couleur de la diode - Service
0 - vert Eteindre l'imprimante
1 - orange - Service d'impression de patrons
2 - vert - EEPROM informations

5) Eteindre l'imprimante.( il faut l'éteindre via la première sélection du menu) puis rallumer l'imprimante. C'est fait.

Réinitialisation Canon S400

ATTENTION! Peut varier avec la version du soft INTERNE de la machine
Ici c'est V1.06 pour canon S400

Voici ce que j'ai fait:
Bouton rond 1= Power Bouton Ovale 2 = Resume

Bien sur, mettre une feuille de papier comme pour imprimer.

1) Débrancher le câble d'alimentation de l'imprimante

2) Presser et MAINTENIR le bouton rond POWER enfoncé.

3) Re brancher le cordon secteur à l'aide de l'autre main en maintenant Power pressé.
L'indicateur passe au vert

4) Presser et maintenir le bouton Résume enfoncé
L'indicateur passe à l'orange

5) Presser à nouveau Resume et le maintenir
L'indicateur repasse vert

6) Relâchez les deux boutons à la fois.

L'imprimante fait un cycle de test papier et imprime sa version de soft, la température des têtes ainsi ensuite que toutes les couleurs des buses.
Puis elle reste allumée verte MAIS refuse d'imprimer.

Ce n'est pas fini et c'est là que j'ai enfin trouvé le bon process à faire.

Après ce cycle de test impression, le voyant est vert fixe. Si demande d'impression, l'imprimante ne réponds pas..C'est normal. Elle est en mode d'attente de confirmation de reseting.

Presser sur Resume et maintenir, attendre...L'indicateur va clignoter 4 fois: Vert eteint vert etc.

Dès le premier clignotement, relâcher résume. Puis dès que le 4ème clignotement a eu lieu, presser et MAINTENIR pressé le bouton Power.

Là le reset est mémorisé!

Débrancher l'imprimante du secteur , attendre 10 ou 20 secondes (pour être sur qu'il ne reste plus de tension)

Rebrancher et presser sur Power pour allumer l'imprimante. Elle fait un nettoyage et passe au vert fixe. Imprimez.

Des heures avant de trouver! Merci Canon.

Je possède un i850 qui m'avait déjà fait le coup une fois du compteur à remetre à zéro. Mais elle me le refait, 7 clignotements oranges pour 1 vert.

Alors j'ai beau suivre la procedure et cela ne fonctionne pas (ou plus), j'explique :

-j'allume l'imprimante en restant appuyé sur le bouton resume
-je relache resume
-j'appuie une fois sur resume->passage à l'orange, je rappuie sur résume-> passage au vert
-je relache résume et power
-l'imprimante se lance (un amorcage beaucoup plus court que la normale, peut-être due au mode de maintenance)
-j'attend le prochain clignotement vert apres la fin du lancement

et c'est là que ca bug, car normalement la led devrait clignoter verte (d'après ce qui est expliqué plus haut) mais chez moi j'ai de nouveau le cycle de clignotement 7 oranges et 1 vert.

Alors j'appuis quand meme sur le résume :
- 1ere fois = orange
- 2eme fois = vert
- 3eme fois = orange

la Led reste orange, et là il faudrai que j'appuis sur power, ce que je fais, mais là l'imprimante passe au vert et ne fait rien de plus.

A ce moment là, soit:
-si je rappuis sur résume elle repasse orange, puis vert si je rappuie, etc.
- Sinon je rappuis directement sur Power et là l'imprimante s'éteint, mais lorsque je la rallume j'ai de nouveau le cycle de clignotement 7 oranges et 1 vert qui réapparait...

Si quelqu'un a une idée j'ai déjà trop de frais pour changer d'imprimante et celle-ci est une excelente imprimante je trouve. (et les cartouches pas cheres ;-) )

J'ai un soucis avec ma BJC-6200. Elle clignotte 6 fois orange et 1 fois vert. J'ai ainsi effectué une réinitialisation du compteur de nettoyages. Cependant, après cette opération, mon imprimante n'était plus capable d'imprimer quoi que ce soit. La feuille sort, mais totalement blanche. Et depuis peu, j'ai encore les 6 clignotants oranges et je ne peux plus rentrer dans le menu Maintenance de l'imprimante. J'effectue la bonne opération, mais clignote orange et je ne peux donc rien faire.

Auriez-vous une idée ? Merci d'avance.
